The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) is pleased to announce that Dr. Cindy Hansel has successfully met the criteria and has passed the examination necessary to become a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP).

Founded n 1989, NAMS is North America’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health and quality of life through and understanding of menopause.

Those who hold the NCMS certification have demonstrated special interest and competency in the field of menopause. These include physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, nurses, and pharmacists, among others. We congratulate Dr. Cindy Hansel on achieving this important certification!

As women and as professionals, we have marked our lives by the waxing and waning of the moon and the changing of the seasons. There comes a time in every woman’s life that she recognizes that her contribution to this world is no longer the fertility of her womb, but the fertility of her wisdom and achievements. It is that time for us.

We at Crescent will delivering the last of our pregnant patients and will not be caring for future pregnancies. We will continue to focus on the other issues of womanhood, providing office and surgical care for patients.

Crescent would like to thank all of our patients for sharing their pregnancies and their births with us over the years. It has been such a delight to grow with your family.

Many patients have been concerned that we will not be able to share the addition of new family members with them. Please know that this is heartbreaking to us, also. We are so delighted when any patient is expecting. We have come to an understanding with our corporate insurer, and we are excited to announce that Crescent can continue to provide our patients with first trimester care.

We would love for you to confirm your pregnancy with us. We will review any of your specific concerns and risks, and get you through that anxious first trimester. We are most pleased that this enables us to help you choose an obstetrics provider in the greater Cincinnati area that will fit your specific needs and personality. The transfer of care at the 12 week mark assures you plenty of time to get to know your new provider before the big event.
